Why are Caley irons cheaper than the big brands?
Caley sells direct. No shop in the middle, no big-logo markup, no marketing fluff. You still get a hollow-body iron with a thin face, KBS shafts and Lamkin grips, hand-built by Stephen in a workshop outside North Berwick. Black Friday takes a further 20% off.
Should I choose the 01 or the 01T?
The 01 is built for mid to high handicaps who want distance and forgiveness. It has a longer blade, a thicker top line and more offset. The 01T is the players distance version for mid handicaps to scratch: a shorter blade, thinner top line, less offset and a narrower sole. If forgiveness matters more than looks, go 01.
Stock or custom: what's the difference?
Stock sets come in standard spec with a regular or stiff shaft and are dispatched the same day if you order before 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Custom sets are built to your length, lie, shaft and grip, and take around 2 to 3 weeks. Because they're made for you, custom orders can't be changed, cancelled or returned once placed.
Which shaft flex do I need?
If you're not sure, ask the team before you order. Tell them your handicap and how far you hit your 7 iron, and they'll point you the right way.
How does the Black Friday offer work?
The 01 and 01T iron sets, stock and custom, are 20% off. Add the 01X utility iron to either set and the bundle is shown as 25% off. Wedges, wedge sets and the 01X on their own are 10% off. No code needed. Offers can't be combined.
When will my clubs arrive?
Stock sets ordered before 12 noon, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day. UK mainland orders go by DPD and can take up to 2 working days (£9.99). Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland go by Parcelforce (£14.99). Custom sets are built to order and take around 2 to 3 weeks.
What if they're not for me?
On stock iron sets you have 14 days from delivery to return them under UK consumer law, then up to 60 days to return them for store credit. Try the 7 iron as much as you like; keep the rest unused with the head covers on, and email the team before you send anything back.
Custom builds, wedges and utility irons, including the 01X, can't be returned. Read the full returns policy.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, 2 years. If anything's faulty, Caley will send you a replacement.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. Choose Klarna at checkout to split the cost into 3 interest-free payments. You can also pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay.
