Apologies in advance for the lengthy text, but I am AMAZED by these clubs.
I have nothing but great things to say about these clubs and the service from Caley.
I ordered the full set on Sunday 20th nov, they arrived on the 22nd. I live on the Isle of Wight so I usually get things delivered slightly later due to it having to come over on a boat. I was very impressed by the punctuality of the set arriving.
The clubs were packaged and wrapped perfectly, not a scratch on them. The clubs are stunning, they look amazing and I was nervous to get them out of the box.
Took them to the range today to try them out and I’m astounded. I have only been playing golf under a year so I was nervous that I was going to chip/dent/damage them. After hitting over 170 balls there is not a scratch on them, it’s like I’ve just taken the wrapping off again. Where they were such good value I thought there would be issues with keeping them in good condition, but they are perfect, it should be noted that 3-4/10 of my shots will be chunked or hit off the toe so I gave them a run for their money.
After being at the range today I’m on such a high. The clubs feel incredible. I got 170 balls and was hitting them so well that I didn’t even get through the whole set. I tested P wedge up to 3 wood, (Didn’t have enough time to test driver and wedges). The first shot I took with the P wedge blew me away. With my previous clubs I would hit a P wedge between 90 and 100 yards, the first shot I took with the Caley P Wedge went 135 yards… I then went up through my irons, shocked that I’m getting 20/30/40 extra yards onto what I’m used to. I used to hit my 5 iron between 150 and 165 yards, I hit the Caley 5 iron 210 in the first 3 swings. The quality to these clubs is astounding.
To put those numbers into perspective - I played with a friend the other day, he’s been playing a lot longer than me and is a much better golfer than I am. He’s got top of the range premium TaylorMade clubs, we were comparing numbers and what yardages we hit with specific clubs (This was before I ordered the Caley clubs). He was hitting his, (premium, very expensive), P wedge between 130 and 140 yards and his 5 iron 205/210 yards: that’s what I am hitting now with the Caley clubs on the first day of me using them.
Long story short, these amazing Caley clubs are competing with top of the range, premium brand clubs for much a cheaper price.
I would like to say that I am 25 years old and a father to a 1 year old. Golf is something that I’ve fallen in love with in my spare time. I don’t have the money to be spending on expensive top of the range clubs, so I have been umming and ahhhing about getting these Caley clubs for a while as I didn’t want to spend £1000 and not get along with the clubs. It was a big risk but I am SO glad I took it.
To sum up- these clubs are incredible, amazingly good value. They look (and sound) beautiful. I could not recommend these clubs enough. If you are thinking about getting them, do it.
